Title: 5 Ways I Keep My Faith (and How You Can Too)

Keeping faith alive isn’t a one-time decision — it’s a daily choice. Over the years I’ve found that faith grows when I pair spiritual practices with honest dependence on God. Here are five practical ways I keep my faith, each grounded in Scripture and easy to put into practice.

1. Pray consistently and honestly

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6–7
Why: Prayer is our direct lifeline to God. Praying regularly reminds me that I’m not in control and helps replace anxiety with trust.

(Philippians 4:6–7 promises God’s peace when we bring our requests to Him).

2. Read and meditate on God’s Word

Scripture: Romans 10:17; Psalm 119:105; Joshua 1:8

Why: Faith grows as we hear and absorb God’s truth. Scripture shapes how we see God, ourselves, and the world.

Choose a reading plan (Psalms, the Gospels, or a one-year Bible plan). Don’t just read—pause to meditate on one verse each day, write a sentence about what it means for you, and memorize a short verse to recall in hard moments.

3. Stay connected with other christian believers.

Scripture: Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42–47; Proverbs 27:17

Why:  We were not meant to follow Jesus alone. Fellowship encourages, corrects, and strengthens faith through shared worship, study, and service.

Practical steps: Join a small group, Bible study, or serve regularly in a ministry. Make two-way friendships where you can share struggles and victories and pray for one another.

4. Live out your faith through obedience and service.

Scripture: James 2:14–17; John 14:15; Matthew 25:35–40

Why: Faith deepens when it becomes action. Serving others and obeying Christ’s commands make faith tangible and expose us to God’s presence in others.

Look for everyday opportunities to show love — hospitality, volunteering, mentoring, or simple acts of kindness. Start with one regular commitment so service becomes a habit, not a one-off.

5. Persevere through trials and remember God’s faithfulness

Scripture: James 1:2–4; Romans 5:3–5; Hebrews 12:1–2

Why: Hard seasons can either wear us down or refine our faith. When we view trials as a means God uses to produce perseverance and character, faith can deepen.

Keep a “faith journal” of difficult times and how God met you. Re-read past entries to remember God’s faithfulness. Practice thanksgiving in hardship and lean on Scripture that reminds you God is working (Romans 5:3–5).

None of the steps above are magic; they’re habits that open the door for God to work in us. Start small — one daily prayer, five minutes of Scripture, one meeting a week with believers, one act of service, and a single sentence in a journal. Over time those small choices compound into a steady, resilient faith.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to pray without ceasing, to hunger for Your Word, to love Your people, and to live out my faith even when it’s hard. Teach me to trust You and to remember Your faithfulness each day. Amen.

Small Seeds, Big Faith: The Beginning of Mustard Seed Faith Women’s Ministries

 Date: September 13, 2025

Author: Amy, Founder & President

 Welcome, dear sisters in Christ!

If you’ve found your way here, know this: you are seen, you are loved, and you are not alone. Mustard Seed Faith Women’s Ministries was born from a simple truth, hat even the smallest act of faith can grow into something beautiful, powerful, and life-changing.

This ministry began not with a grand plan, but with a whisper from God in the quiet places of my heart. A whisper that said, “Start small. Trust Me. Sow the seed.” And so I did. With trembling hands and a heart full of hope, I began crafting devotionals, writing scripture, and reaching out to women who, like me, were longing for connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth.

 Why Mustard Seed Faith?
Because Jesus said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed…”
That’s our reminder: we don’t need to have it all together. We just need to begin. To trust. To plant. And to let God do the growing.
